Elaf: The Lebanese composer, Samir Sfeir, who is currently in the Egyptian capital, stated that he sued the management of the international “Four Seasons” hotels, after the accident he suffered in the bathroom of the hotel’s sports club in Cairo, which caused him severe and very dangerous injury, due to the hotel’s failure to observe safety conditions. As a result, he fell into it, and suffered very serious fractures, from which he still suffers, including fractures in the skull and ear, where one of his ears was amputated, and he lost his hearing in it. He is still pursuing treatment, in exchange for the indifference of the hotel administration to the matter, which made him resort to the courts. The famous Lebanese singer and composer distributed a statement saying:
The unfortunate accident that I was exposed to on 10/12/2022 at the “Four Seasons” Hotel Club in Cairo, after I slipped on the jacuzzi stairs in the sports club of the “Four Seasons Nile Plaza” Cairo, and it became clear that the place does not take into account the public safety conditions for those who frequent it. I find myself compelled to take legal action as a result of my very severe injury, which I am still suffering from and I am continuing my treatment to date, without any concern from the hotel management for the severe injuries that befell me in my ears, head, and various parts of my body. The Office of Counselor Tariq Al-Kashef was entrusted with the Court of Cassation in Cairo, Egypt, to initiate all necessary legal procedures and measures. I reserve the right to sue the hotel management in Egypt, and the global public administration.”
Sfeir had been subjected to a serious accident, and was admitted to the hospital, where he stayed for weeks in intensive care. But when it turned out that the issue took a lot of interpretations, and in the face of the indifference of the hotel management, he found himself forced to explain the details of what happened with him, to prevent any explanations for the matter, explaining to the public opinion the truth and details of what happened with full transparency and clarity.
