The National Commission for Consultation on the Lunar Crescent met today, Sunday June 18, 2023, at the RTS to scrutinize the lunar crescent. That the lunar crescent has not been seen in several localities of the country, therefore Tuesday, June 20, 2023 will be the first day of the lunar month Tabaski (Dhul Hidjdja). Tabaski Day will be celebrated on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
