Now VISIT JAPAN WEB has been updated to add an offline function, so that passengers do not need to change SIM cards and find Wi-Fi to log in at the gate after arrival. Today, let me share with you how to set up to use the VISIT JAPAN WEB offline. After arriving in Japan, you can naturally enter the country one step faster and “go travel to the end”.

Preparation in advance: Passport + Web Cam (If you apply by mobile phone, you don’t need to prepare Web Cam)

Step 1: Click “Create New Account”

Creating a new account is required the first time you use Visit Japan Web. Click the white “Create New Account” button in the picture below and fill in your personal information.

After pressing the “Create New Account” button, it will automatically jump to the screen shown in the figure below. At this time, you need to check the two options in the green box before you can click “Next” to continue the application.

Fill in the email address and password and press the “Create Account” button. After the verification code is sent from Japan, it means that the account has been successfully registered.

▲Note that the password must have 10 or more characters, and the password must include uppercase and lowercase English, numbers and symbols

Within about one minute after filling in the email address, Japan will send out an email with the verification code. At this time, the verification code must be pasted in the input field under “Enter the verification code”. Be careful not to close this screen, otherwise the authentication will not be completed.

Step 2: Log in user information (remember to prepare your passport first)

After completing the account application, Visit Japan Web will automatically log you out for you. You will need to log back in with the account you just signed up for. After logging in, you will see the screen shown below, click “My Information” (green box) to fill in your personal information. At this time, you need to declare whether you hold a Japanese passport, and whether you have a “Japanese re-entry permit” (ie, work visa, student visa, etc.). Remember to have your passport ready when you apply.

Remember to check “Yes” when using the tax-free QR code option. After registration, you don’t need to show your passport to apply for tax-free shopping. When purchasing tax-free goods, you can use the tax-free QR code from Visit Japan Web instead of your passport. But it should be noted that you need to confirm whether the duty-free shop supports QR code before using it.

Step 3: Log in to enter the country and make a reservation for returning home

After filling in the personal information, you can return to the main page and press the button “Login New Entry, Return to China” button to fill in the purpose of travel, when you will arrive in Japan, what airline you are taking, flight number (just fill in the numbers), and your travel plans after arriving in Japan. Address and Japanese phone number, etc.

Step 4: Fill in the alien entry record

After clicking “Return to Immigration, Return to Country Procedures”, you will jump to the page shown below. At this point you can register the Alien Entry Record.

Step 5a: Add to iPhone desktop
