Congolese President Denis Sassou-Nguesso is on a state visit to Rwanda. He met Paul Kagame to discuss agricultural cooperation between the two countries. While a controversial agreement signed last year allocated nearly 12,000 hectares of Congolese agricultural land to Rwandan companies. NGOs denounced an “unconstitutional” cession of territory.
