Just days after the presentation of the lists of candidates to the Constitutional Council, there are still doubts about how the opposition will present themselves.
From Chile Vamos they have already stated on several occasions their intentions to unite with the parties in formation Yellow for Chile and Democrats.

The spokesman for Amarillos por Chile, Tomás Aylwin, acknowledged that since they did not have the signatures they would have to go as independents on lists of other parties, a decision that did not seem favorable to them.
However, he explained that they do not rule out alliances in the future, since those who were going for the Rejection must work together.
Republican party only
For their part, from the Republican Party they assured that they are looking for the best 72 possible candidates, since they prefer to act independently.
Deputy Chiara Barchiesi clarified that there is no possibility of allying with Chile Vamos.
“Everything indicates that due to the clarity of the message we want to convey, we should go alone,” he started.
“In any case, it is impossible for us to go on the list with Chile Vamos because they decided to ally themselves with the ideological left and from that perspective, consequently with our voters, an agreement of this nature is not viable,” he launched.

The deadline to declare the candidacies is February 7, so the political parties have 15 days to reach agreements that can define the future of the new constitutional process.
The election of the directors is agreed for May 7, with criteria of gender parity and under the senatorial model.
His work will start on June 7 and can last up to five months, which must culminate in the delivery of a final proposal to the President.
Since the reform was approved, the exit plebiscite will be on December 17, with a mandatory vote.
