Follow-up sources reported, according to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anbaa, that contacts are being made by Hezbollah, with its allies in the Free Patriotic Movement, in an attempt to speed up the formation process and pave the way for the issuance of composition decrees, following putting the final consensual touches on the new formation, in The upcoming fifth meeting between President Michel Aoun and Prime Minister-designate Najib Mikati.
Meanwhile, attention is turning to the position that Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri will announce, next Wednesday, at a festival organized by the “Amal” movement, in the city of Tyre, to commemorate the disappearance of Imam Musa al-Sadr and his two companions.
Informed sources said that Berri, who has remained silent regarding the intensification of the relationship between the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister-designate, will focus on the accuracy of what Lebanon’s situation has reached, and the risks surrounding its present and future.
