Accordingly, at about 4 o’clock on the same day, at the intersection between DT619 road and the road leading to Tam Hiep port (Nui Thanh district), an accident occurred between a passenger car and a container tractor.
At that time, a passenger car carrying many people ran from the direction of Quang Ngai to Da Nang, while the container truck ran from the direction of National Highway 1 to Ky Ha port and had a collision.
The accident caused six people on the bus to die on the spot, two people died at the hospital and many others were taken to the hospital.
At the scene, the passenger car was damaged and lying upside down.
After the incident, the Nui Thanh District Police and the Quang Nam Provincial Police were urgently present at the scene to remedy the consequences and investigate to clarify the cause of the accident.
