Côte d’Ivoire: AfDB allocates $672 million to private sector projects

The African Development Bank (AfDB) reaffirms its commitment to support the National Development Plan (NDP) of Côte d’Ivoire, estimated at around 96 billion dollars. During a seminar held on February 9 on business opportunities in the country, the president of the institution, Akinwumi Adesina, pointed out that as of July 30, 2022, the group’s project portfolio in Côte d’ Ivoire had 44 deals, totaling nearly US$2.61 billion in commitments. Of these projects, $672 million (nearly 27.43% of the overall portfolio) was allocated to private sector projects.
