COVID-19: ever fewer Quebecers hospitalized

The number of Quebecers hospitalized with COVID-19 continues to decline in the province.

The latest report from Public Health reports 1,383 people occupying a hospital bed. Remember that hospitalizations have continued to decline since January 8.

Due to a technical problem, “the number of deaths is not available,” said the Ministry of Health and Social Services on Monday.

Also, 397 new infections were detected in screening centers and 41 positive rapid tests were declared on the government platform on Sunday.

In addition, 1,891 workers are absent due to COVID-19, whether for preventive withdrawal, isolation or waiting for results.
