Even though Biomutant encountered some mixed reviews, it still managed to find a sizable audience who wanted to experience this quirky action-RPG and its sleek design. If you haven’t played it yet, but want to, developer Injecture 101 and publisher THQ Nordic have announced that now is a good time to do something about it.
On September 6th, they’ll be rolling out a free upgrade to the game for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series S/X, so we can finally enjoy it in the best possible way on the console. There will be three modes available:
• Quality: 30 fps @ 4k resolution (1440p for S-Series)
• Release quality: 40+ fps, 50-60 fps average, up to 4k resolution (1440p for S-Series)
• Performance: Locked at 60 fps at 1440p (1080p at S-Series)
