Cremona officially announced that it did not validate the purchase option of the Mexican soccer player Johan Vasquezwho will have to return to Genoa following a season on loan.

Through a statement, the recently relegated club to the Serie B reported that he did not exercise the purchase option of any of the two players who were on loan to the team: Vásquez and Soualiho Meité.

It should be remembered that ‘El Pipe’ was loaned out by Genoa following consummating their relegation a season ago. However, he managed his return to the A league immediately, so the Mexican defender will remain in the highest category of Italian soccer.

Johan played a total of 29 games for Cremonese, 25 in the league and four more than in the cup. In addition, he managed to score a goal and received nine cards; all yellow.
