An emblematic license brought up to date. Square Enix definitely knows how to talk to its fans by successfully unveiling pretty remakes. Aware of the success of its titles linked to its strong Final Fantasy license, the Japanese publisher hopes to keep the little hearts of players around the world beating for a long time to come.
After giving us a sublime episode Final Fantasy VII Remakereleased in 2020 on PS4, now we can dive back into the fabulous history of the opus Crisis Core : Final Fantasy VII originally released on PSP in 2008. In this improved version available on PlayStation 5, you are back, 15 years later, at the controls of the hero Zack Fair, a well-known character from the saga first seen in Final Fantasy VII.

A neat achievement that honors the cult episode of the PSP
As for the version of his iconic episode Final Fantasy VII Remake, Square Enix did not hesitate to put the small dishes in the big ones. The modeling of the heroes is clean, the landscapes are dense and the fluidity is indeed there.

Special mention for the cutscenes which are a real success. We sometimes remain glued to our screen as the latter are so beautiful.
Enjoyable gameplay in the service of a masterful scenario
If this episode marked the fans so much, it is also and above all thanks to its gripping scenario which takes place before the events of Final Fantasy VII. In this remake, nothing is changed and this allows us to reminisce about beautiful memories while enjoying a modernized adventure. On the gameplay side, this remake manages to offer us more pronounced game sensations thanks in particular to the fluidity found in the fights. The fights take place in real time and offer great sensations controller in hand.
Our hero Zack can use materia in addition to his heavy sword allowing him to face his enemies. Thanks to this, he can chain the blows with his magic in a nice way and thus make the action very dynamic. It’s particularly enjoyable and the moves follow one another with panache, especially when we merge our materia.
Crisis Core : Final Fantasy VII Reunion is a tasty episode, truly essential for fans of the license. Boasting a very pleasant visual rendering, a particularly enjoyable gameplay and a solid (and moving) story, it is almost necessary to own it on PlayStation 5 if you have not read the episode on PSP there. at 15.
