Alexander Orjuela arrived on January 20 at the Palermo Clinic, in Bogotá, due to severe pain in the pit of his stomach.

Shortly after the application, the patient had anaphylactic shock that caused respiratory arrest for 12 minutes.

Furthermore, Diana Orjuela said: “They told us that my brother was going to be handed over with a brain death.”

“At this moment he is not breathing on his own, as he is using a ventilator,” said Orjuela. Also, “they told us that they are reaching an agreement with the Sura Health Promotion Entity (EPS) to take him to a health center.” rehabilitation and after that they will hand him over to us.

On the other hand, the family member commented that they have already put in place “a guardianship so that he is not transferred” and are requesting reports of everything they did to him when they filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office.
