Deadly Shooting at CityPlace Doral Leaves One Dead and Multiple Injured, Including Police Officer

A tragic incident occurred at CityPlace Doral in Miami-Dade County, resulting in one fatality and several injuries, including a police officer. The incident unfolded around 3:30 a.m. during a dispute at Martini Bar when a security guard intervened, according to authorities.

Regrettably, the situation escalated when the shooter produced a firearm and fatally shot the security guard. Eyewitnesses report a heavy police presence, with rideshare driver Rob Abner expressing his personal concern about the incident.

Fortunately, the injured officer has been released from the hospital, but the same cannot be said for the six innocent bystanders who were also shot. Among the victims are two women and four men, with two individuals listed in critical condition following evacuation to the hospital.

As emergency responders worked tirelessly to save lives, a medical helicopter was captured on video arriving at the hospital in the early morning hours to transport a patient on a gurney. Additionally, a man with a bandaged hand was seen arriving in the back of an ambulance.
