A few days ago, we explained to you that the Mac version of Death Stranding – a game by Hideo Kojima released in 2019 – was postponed from December 2 to January 31, 2024. But this delay is ultimately not very important (the game has a little more than four years, two months change nothing) was hiding something: the game will also arrive on iPad and iPhone.

It is the studio 505 Games which announces it on, and the title should have the same limitations as ports of Resident Evil games. Indeed, recent AAA games only work on iPads equipped with an Apple M1 or M2 chip (a few iPad Pros and the latest iPad Air model) and on the iPhone 15 Pro.
We can hope for two things: that the game is universal (for the moment, the page du Mac App Store only talks about Macs) and that the studio does a launch promotion, given its age. Resident Evil 4 – expected on December 20 – should be a good example: it is announced as universal and our colleagues at Touch Arcade noted that it should be offered for $30 at launch. Death Stranding, for the moment, is listed at €40.
