The Liège tram project, already famous for its delays (two and a half years at least) and the budgetary effort that the Walloon Region had to make recently (79 million) to avoid the bankruptcy of the operators, is taking another hit. : the extension to Seraing, included as part of the Wallonia recovery plan supported by Europe, is compromised. The Walloon government looked into the matter on Wednesday and decided not to award the work on the extension even though the deadline for completing the work is very tight.
