In recent weeks, Digio has informed its customers that it will begin charging annual fees to its users’ credit cards. The charge starts to take effect from the invoice following the email sent.
According to the statement that TudoCelular had access to, a fee of R$4.99 per month will be charged for cards with the Visa brand. According to the email, the change is provided for in clause 8.1 of your contract.
The bank’s message to its customers also highlights that the card is free from the annual fee if the user’s spending in the month exceeds the amount of R$300. In other words, if you always use this amount, at the very least, you will not have to pay the tariff.
We found that the app’s Help Center also displays the new charge and a link to the rate table. The reported value is equivalent to the Digio Classic card – since the Digio One modality already includes a monthly fee of R$44.90.
Another highlight in the fee table is current account maintenance, something that observations suggest has been implemented since July 1st of this year. Account holders will have to pay R$5.90 every month – however, it is not clear whether the amount is also charged for those with a zero account.
If you want to cancel your Digio card, simply enter the app, enter the tab Help and request cancellation through chat support.
