Direction of referees with positive balance after 1st date

Assumption.- The director of referees Amelio Andino, and the advisor Horacio Elizondo, made a positive assessment of the referee’s performance, after the first date of the Apertura tournament. Those responsible for refereeing considered that there were no significant actions or errors that had influenced the results of the games.

Both Elizondo and Andino indicated that the actions of the referees were closely monitored through a system of their own videos, not the channel that owns the rights, which makes control more effective.

In general there were no complaints from the teams after the first date and precisely the presidents of Guaraní at the time and of Cerro, this Tuesday, applauded the management of the referees last weekend.

Elizondo valued the predisposition of the judges and highlighted the approval with which they received “the feedback from their observers, with video analysis taking care of detail by detail” of the work of each of them.

Andino, on the same point, noted that the referees were previously summoned to “receive sticks” and with this new modality they were able to analyze their respective decisions on the fields.

Regarding the net playing time, Elizondo considered the average of 50 minutes that our soccer has to be low, but he noted that this does not depend only on the referees, but the responsibility also falls on the teams.

They also announced that they will work on a talent program and that on a scale of 1 to 10, a grade of 8 will be the minimum required of referees.
