Disappearance of Héléna in Brest: the search focuses on Recouvrance – Brest

Three days after the disappearance of Héléna Cluyou, a 20-year-old nursing student in Brest, the research carried out by the judicial police is focusing on the Recouvrance district. It was there, after 6 a.m., on the night of Saturday January 28 to Sunday January 29, 2023, that she would have been seen for the last time. Dog handlers were deployed to the right bank district in the afternoon to try to find the trace of the young woman, reported missing after an evening at a disco, at the One club, on the port of trade. According to our information, Héléna Cluyou was not alcoholic when she left the nightclub. Several traders on rue de la Porte, near the tram stop, were visited by the police, present in the neighborhood, at the start of the afternoon.

Mobilization canceled on social networks

On social networks, a message calling for a grouped search in the evening, after 7 p.m., had been launched at the start of the day. But, at the request of the family, this “beat” was canceled. On the other hand, during the demonstration against the pension reform, Tuesday morning, in Brest, participants held up a sign calling for mobilization to find the student. Photos of the young woman as well as the search notice published by the police were posted on a wooden panel.

As a reminder, as of Sunday evening, searches had been carried out in the presence of the firefighters and the police at the port of the Marina du Château. This track seems, this Tuesday, January 31, less favored by the investigators. According to our information, at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the research carried out in the Recouvrance district had not been successful.
