Al-Marsad newspaper: The Moroccan national team secured a huge financial reward of $ 25 million, following reaching, for the first time in its history, the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, from the International Federation of Football Associations.
Morocco was able to defeat its Portuguese counterpart in the quarter-finals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, (1-0) in the match that brought them together yesterday evening, Saturday, at “Al-Thumama” stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha, to enter history as the first Arab and African team to reach the round of the Big Four of the World Cup.
This reward is the largest received by an Arab team in the history of the World Cup, following FIFA decided to allocate the largest financial prizes ever during the Qatar World Cup finals.
