The two images of the “Ravioli Moon” show the perspective of the Cassini spacecraft in a close encounter. Pan’s moon was originally discovered 9 years ago by the Voyager 2 spacecraft, according to the British Daily Star newspaper. According to the Space website, Saturn has 145 moons currently recognized by the International Astronomical Union. 62 of them were found earlier this year by a team of scientists.
