Al-Marsad Newspaper: Dr. Muhammad Hammad, a nutritionist, revealed the benefits that accrue to the body when consuming oats, through a video clip on his Tik Tok account.

He pointed out: “Oatmeal has two types of beneficial fibers, as it slows digestion, maintains weight, reduces appetite, and maintains insulin levels.”

He added, “Oatmeal contains magnesium, phosphorous, iron, zinc, vitamin A, and vitamin B.”

And he continued: “The group that follows a whole grain diet, including oats, compared to people who do not follow the diet, has a 21% lower risk of heart disease than others.”

He concluded: “Steel Cat” is the type of oatmeal that is beneficial for diabetics, because its glycemia is lower than other types of oats.
