Therefore, in order to ensure the safety of life and property of residents, the People’s Committee of District 5 organizes urgent relocation of households living in the above apartment to temporary residence at An Phu apartment building No. 961. Hau Giang Street, Ward 11, District 6.
At the meeting, the majority of residents agreed to relocate if the authorities clarified the compensation plan for the people.

“Apartment 440 is assessed to be at risk of collapse from 2017. From 2017 to now, it has been a long time, but there is still no specific compensation plan for people. We need the government to set a specific compensation price. possible, ensuring that the market price is right,” said Mr. Phung.
Sharing about the above problem, Mr. Duong Huu Nhi, Head of District 5 compensation and clearance committee, said: Currently, this project has called but no investors. Because there are no investors, the state has to use the budget to compensate. But we are currently facing the problem that the law has not specified specific compensation plans in the form of apartments.
Over the past time, District 5 has also repeatedly reported, consulted, and proposed city departments and agencies for District 5 to make compensation plans. And the district has proposed a few plans related to compensation plans. .

If people agree to move temporarily until March 10, in addition to the prescribed moving costs, the District 5 People’s Committee will arrange vehicles and workers to assist in moving the assets of the households through the apartment. temporary residence.
In addition, with the capital of socialization, temporary residents in the apartment are arranged to not have to pay rent at the temporary residence, the households themselves pay related costs such as electricity, water, car deposit. .
The management and operation costs of temporary apartments District 5 People’s Committee will support from socialization capital for households that agree to relocate.
In case people agree to relocate from the time the People’s Committee of District 5 issued the decision approving the plan until February 15, one household will receive 40 million VND in support. In which, it includes money to support operating and management costs and bonuses for agreeing to relocate early.
In case people agree to relocate from February 16 to February 28, the amount per household will receive support is 20 million VND to support operating costs.
In case people relocate after February 28, they will not be supported.
