Scientists engaged in astronomy and everything that has to do with space research they are not happy with the large number of satellites orbiting the Earth. They say it clogs the data record of telescopes that look from our surface into the depths of the cosmos.
In recent years, if we add the satellites sent by government space agencies and those sent by SpaceXincluding those on the Internet of Starlinkof Elon Muskin the sky there are several artificial constellations.
That can be seen with the naked eye. Astronomy enthusiasts or simple people with a camera in hand have recorded the passage of satellites through the sky. They have confused this with alien spaceships, perhaps a product of the fantasy we encounter on a daily basis.
But what cannot be denied is that artificial lights are gradually becoming more frequent in the sky.
Crossed satellites in the Milky Way
The most recent episode, related to what we have been talking regarding, occurred in Australia. Ari Rex, winner of the Photographer of the Year award by the scientific journal Nature, publishes on his Twitter account an image taken from nearby canola fields near Harden NSW Australia.
The photo was taken last year and, at the time, won first place from the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers. It is a constellation of satellites captured in bulb mode (long exposure photography), crossed in the middle of the Milky Way, which appears as a wallpaper.
This image is, from any point of view, spectacular. But, in matters of scientific research, it might hinder the work of experts who want to discover the secrets that hide the depths of the cosmos.
