The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed that the polio vaccination campaign is available and free for all Egyptian and foreign children, without the need to present a birth certificate for each child.
The Ministry of Health and Population added that the vaccination is available to all children under 5 years old, and the Ministry of Health called on families to go to the nearest health unit or health office without the need for their birth certificates or any personal proof of the parents.
For his part, Dr. Amr Kandil, Head of the Preventive Medicine Sector, indicated that the campaign tours homes in all governorates, villages and remote areas, under the slogan “from house to house”, in addition to gathering places, markets, major squares, train stations, bus stops, metro stations, and commercial malls. , through mobile teams, in addition to fixed teams located in health offices, health units and medical centers at the level of the governorates of the Republic.
