This startling news reported by Rolling Stone magazine, which cites two different sources, emerged after the FBI raided Donald Trump’s residence in Florida earlier this month.
The FBI seized, among other things, a document containing “information” on the French president – titled “info re: President of France” – but it is not clear whether this document concerned the private life of Mr. Macron, or whether the information was secret or came from US intelligence. Earlier, Trump had mentioned Macron’s alleged “playfulness”, “which few people know about”.
According to Rolling Stone sources, French and American officials wanted to know exactly what Trump had on Macron and whether any of it was sensitive in nature. Trump had already bragged about this alleged information when he was still in the White House.
But he never went into detail about what he claims to know about Macron. “It’s often hard to tell if he’s talking nonsense or not,” one of the magazine’s sources said. It’s also not the first time he’s gonessip about the private lives of foreign leaders.
