Actress Donia Samir Ghanem expressed her support for actress Mervat Amin, who was a close friend of her late mother, actress Dalal Abdel Aziz.
And she published a picture of her that she gathered with Mervat on her official page on “Facebook”, and attached it to the sentence: “My second mother… May God protect you for us… I love you.”
This step comes after a wide campaign of bullying that Mervat was subjected to after circulating a picture of her in the condolences of director Ali Abdel Khaleq, and signs of aging and old age appeared on her face.
A number of social networking “bullies” put her picture next to previous pictures of her to compare her current and previous appearance.
This necessitated the intervention of major stars of the Arab world to support actress Mervat Amin through messages of support and responding to critics.
