For Madame Sano Doussou Condé, a former RPG activist who became a civil society activist, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya does not manage Guinea according to his wishes.
While many observers suggest that the president carry out a ministerial reshuffle to reorient the transition, Doussou Condé believes that the man of September 5 must start by reviewing those around him.
She believes that the Colonel is being taken hostage by executives who surround him at the palace. “It’s true that we need a ministerial reshuffle, but Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya must first reshuffle his entourage. Because he is completely disconnected from reality. He has his little parallel government around him, which pushes him to do what he should not do,” she denounced.
Regarding the reshuffle, Dame Doussou Condé thinks that it could have taken place a long time ago: “A two-year transition, normally after a year he had to reshuffle. So the reshuffle should be done even if there had been no evaluation of the ministers”.
According to Doussou Condé, Mamadi Doumbouya found himself in this situation, because he governs with executives who served under the Alpha Condé regime.
“They said there won’t be any recycling, but that’s not true. Who is in this government who was not an official in Alpha’s government? They are all recycled. You say that you are not going to recycle, you are in the process of rebuilding, you take people here and there who have no concept of the State, now you find yourself in an incredible situation.
