A tragic accident cost the lives of two pedestrians in Waremme. Both were hit by a car whose driver fled. So far, he has not been identified or arrested.
The first elements of this tragedy were reported by Sudinfo this morning. The events happened around 2:40 a.m. this Sunday, on the Roman road near the bar “Le Flanagan”.
One of the pedestrians died instantly, while the other succumbed to his injuries following being taken to hospital. They are two forty-year-olds, one living in Oleye (Waremme) and the second in Liège.
Until now, the exact circumstances of this accident remain unclear, but according to information from Sudinfo, there is talk of a possible speed race between several vehicles.
