Men’s doubles pair, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto won against Taiwan’s representatives, Lu Ching Yao/Yang Po Han, 2024 Asian Badminton Championship.
Fajar/Rian won over their Taiwanese opponents with a score of 21-17, 21-16 at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center, Ningbo, China, Thursday (11/4).
“Thank God and grateful to be able to win. The opponent also played well,” said Fajar in his statement.
Fajar is grateful that the strategy implemented is working well. Because, according to him, the opponent has strength and speed.
“We suppressed our opponent’s advantage by first taking the initiative to play more forward,” he said.
Fajar explained that the next match against the host representatives, Liang Wei Keng/Wang Chang, will be used as a simulation match for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“Tomorrow’s match is also a simulation event ahead of the Thomas Cup and the Paris Olympics. Against China’s best and number one pair, we want to show our best performance,” he said.
Meanwhile, Rian admitted that he would compete against the host’s representatives with high motivation. He will also prepare for the match carefully. (Z-8)
