DRK local association Bückeburg again receives an extraordinary object from Michael Jackson manager

(Bückeburg) Another year has passed and so Sven Lampe, chairman of the DRK local association in Bückeburg, drove together with his father Peter on a thank-you tour to the south to say thank you on behalf of the association for the support provided.

The first destination on the itinerary was Dieter Wiesner, the former friend and manager of the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson. This visit has become routine for the “Red Cross” so that Wiesner has had a regular annual meeting for five years now.

The contact did not break off during this time, according to Lampe. Wiesner was informed about the work of the DRK Bückeburg the whole time.

The atmosphere in Wiesner’s Frankfurt office was once again very pleasant, said Lampe. There was talk about past projects by both the DRK and Wiesner himself. Another topic was future projects. The “King of Pop” Michael Jackson was also discussed.

Dieter Wiesner excitedly unwraps the gift.

According to Lampe, Wiesner not only supports the DRK local association in Bückeburg, but has also been an ambassador for the “Kinderlachen eV” association with its headquarters in Dortmund for several years. Sven Lampe already had a meeting with the founder of the association, Christian Vosseler, in their office in Dortmund in the summer. At the meeting, the respective work and structure of both associations was presented.

“Kinderlachen” supports children in need all over Germany with what they need most urgently. This includes furniture, materials for school and leisure, medical equipment, beds and much more. In addition, “Children’s Laughter” fulfills children’s dreams as part of unforgettable events and leisure activities.

The commitment focuses on terms such as equal opportunities, child development and social participation. Kinderlachen eV is financed exclusively by private donations and by private sponsoring. Kinderlachen rejects public subsidies – also in order not to further reduce the already scarce public funds for child, youth and social welfare. Rather, with its commitment, Kinderlachen would like to acquire additional funds and make them available to needy children and their families.

Under the motto “Support with what is most urgently needed”, only donations in kind are given to children, families and institutions.

Many pictures of him and Michael Jackson with personalized dedications adorn the office.

Wiesner has now sent the DRK representatives the happy message that both clubs will cooperate together to help planned projects or where support is needed. Both DRK representatives were very happy about this great news. Both sides are now looking forward to the future in order to be able to implement joint projects in Bückeburg.

Wiesner received something very special from Lampe as a guest gift. Lampe had Wiesner also had a fire bowl specially made for him with Wiesner’s logo and the DRK local association in Bückeburg. With this gift, Lampe wants to show the solidarity and at the same time gratitude of the association. Wiesner was visibly overwhelmed by the presents and surprised the DRK chairman with a unique item from the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson. Lampe received a lyric of Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley’s marriage license. According to Wiesner, there is only an edition of six of this production worldwide.

Michael Jackson was also very good at drawing. Here you can see a copy of a picture he drew, which reflects his childhood.

The chairman and his father were speechless and were very happy about this great support and thanked them warmly on behalf of the association. Wiesner explained that he finds the work of the DRK local association in Bückeburg very good and important and has promised further support in the future.

The special gift will soon be auctioned off via the United Charity auction platform. The proceeds will be used for the work of the DRK Bückeburg. Afterwards we continued towards Baden-Baden for the next visit. (per/Photos: per)
