During Ramadan.. 6 habits that you should beware of around the dining table

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — With the advent of the month of Ramadan, some wrong health practices are spreading, especially when it comes to the food and drinks that we consume following a long day of fasting.

There is scientific evidence showing that fasting brings great health benefits, according to the official website of the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean.

During this period, the fasting person can lose weight, lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Some of these benefits go to waste due to the practice of wrong habits, such as overeating, whether during the Iftar and Suhoor meals, neglecting healthy meals rich in the nutrients your body needs, and moving towards foods rich in fat.

The official account of the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, in a tweet via Twitter, highlighted 6 wrong habits that must be avoided during the month of Ramadan.
