Elohim Prandi, the Paris Saint-Germain left back, was the victim of a brutal attack on New Year’s Eve in Paris.
The 23-year-old sustained multiple stab wounds and is presently hospitalized. A statement issued by PSG this evening indicates his condition is not considered critical. Scheduled to join the French national team for European Championship preparations, Prandi was to report to the Maison du Handball tomorrow. This follows a positive COVID-19 test last Sunday, at the beginning of the initial phase. Our sources suggest this incident will further inflate the roster of sidelined players in Guillaume Gille’s squad.
