“Education” approves the application of the first stage of the blended education program for secondary tracks

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Ministry of Education approved the implementation of the first phase of the blended education program for secondary tracks, and directed education departments and offices in the regions and governorates of the Kingdom to implement the program document in all public and private schools, starting from the new academic year 1444 AH.

The blended education program for secondary tracks aims to provide flexible educational opportunities and paths for male and female students in the general track, in addition to improving equal access to education in specialized tracks, and supporting students; To acquire skills that qualify them to prepare for the future and global competition in the labor market.

who are targeted by

The program targets students of the general track who do not have seats in the specialized tracks in their schools, as it allows them to enroll in a blended education program that combines the study of the general track subjects in person at school, and the subjects of the specialized track that are not shared with the general track subjectively through electronic courses, and the tracks include The specialization in the integrated program is from the computer science and engineering, health and life tracks, as well as business administration, and the forensic track.

The Ministry assigned education directors in the regions and governorates to open specialized tracks in the blended education program for secondary tracks according to specific criteria, and to submit the executive program for the development of tracks, study plans and academies in the ministry, calling for the follow-up of the application of the program in the educational field, and the inventory and sending of development proposals to the General Administration of E-Learning and Distance Education.
