EFKA – Retrospective: Who and when are paid – The amounts the beneficiaries will receive – 2024-03-27 07:49:35

This afternoon (or tomorrow at the latest) 6,700 pensioners from the former Olympia will go to the fund, for a retroactive period of 54 months. The average amount that these pensioners will receive is 4,700 euros and concerns the recalculation of their pension after enhanced replacement rates of the Brutsis lawwhile they were also owed the increase of the Katrougalos law due to high contributions they paid during their working life.

After the 6,700 pensioners of the pr. Olympic Aviation, the baton of retroactives passes to approximately 1,000 State pensioners, former NPDD employees, which will be paid in April the retrospectives owed to them by EFKA.

The bank employees

They take turns in May 10,000 former bank employees, to whom they are also owed retroactively and indeed of a significant amount from the recalculations of their pensions. And in this group the amounts that will be paid are high and according to estimates exceed 15,000 euros and in some cases reach 50,000 euros.

Several thousands of euros have already been paid retroactively in the previous days to first group of 1,085 old ISAP pensioners with pending recalculations. On average they collected 12,900 euros, with the minimum amount at 600 euros and the maximum at 63,705 euros.

“Until the end of March, many pensioners will see more retroactive payments on their account. This is because pensioners such as those of ISAP, Olympiaki, legal entities of public law and banks had not seen the recalculation of their pensions, both by the Katrougalou law and by the Vroutsis law” stated the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Domna Michailidou. “So at the end of the month, pensioners will see their upwardly revised pensions in their bank account.”

Who will get the most?

The variation in retroactives is due to pensions and whether and how much personal difference retirees have that needs to be zeroed out to see the increase in pocket. Pensioners who left with 35, 38 and 40 years of insurance will receive the most retrospectively, as in these years the replacement rates were significantly strengthened by the Vroutsis law.

These recalculations are valid from October 1, 2019 onwards. That is, those expecting increases from the recalculation will get them retroactively over four years, 54 months to April (October 2019 – April 2024).

Pensioners from the IKA, OAEE and the State with consecutive and parallel insurance remain in the “queue” of the recalculations, who have not received the increases they are entitled to from the improved replacement rates after 30 years of insurance. Many of them even work after retirement.
