EL HERALDO learned details of the case

Dilay Escalante Contreras was dying in the car of her friend Óscar Avilez, whom she had called to take her from the emergency room to the Queen Catherine Clinica medical center where last Thursday she had undergone a bariatric surgery, and where Dr. Carlos Sales Puccini was supposedly waiting for her this Thursday, to intervene once more. However, despite her efforts, she died.

THE HERALD had access to the story that Xiomara Contreras, aunt of the deceased woman, gave before a prosecutor on duty at the URI following the event that occurred on the morning of April 28.
