This Tuesday afternoon an older adult suffered a violent assault at the hands of two individuals in Talcahuano, in the Bío Bío region. These criminals stole his pension and a bonus he received for the recent death of his wife.
During the day on Tuesday, it was reported about the violent assault suffered by an adult over 73 years old a few meters from his house in Talcahuanoin the Bío Bío region.

This event occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the Patricio Lynch community of Talcahuano, a few houses from the victim’s home.
In a video recorded by a neighbor’s security camera, you can clearly see how the old man was approached from behind by two young criminals, throwing him to the ground until he found the money in one of his pockets.
Juan Manuel Aguilera, son-in-law of the older adult, recounted what happened to Radio Bío Bío, confirming the violence used against the victim who could do little or nothing.

The man had left a nearby bank where he withdrew about 500 thousand pesos. 200 thousand pesos corresponding to his pension and the rest of the money that was given to him for the recent death of his wife, which occurred a month and a half ago.
“Approximately 500 thousand pesos he withdrew from the bank. What happens is that he receives a pension of 200 and something, and he had received a bonus that was pending as a result of the death of my mother-in-law. They were processing it, so they delivered it today and he withdrew it completely, “explained the victim’s son-in-law.
He also said that Luis “had gone to buy some things on the way here in a store.”
The family, along with the older adult, fear for safety in the area. They believe that the old man still hasn’t assimilated what happened, while they helplessly see that crime touches, cowardly, those who have no way to defend themselves.
“This is being the frequent reality for us and we are getting used to an abnormal issue, we are seeing it as normal,” said Juan Manuel.
