Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has imported 71,000 electric vehicles so far this year, according to the Zakat and Tax Authority. Saudi Arabia has already imported 71,209 vehicles, including electric vehicles and hybrid cars. The authority released the figures for the first half of 2023.
This time electric vehicles have arrived in the country from eight countries. Imports are from America, Germany, Japan, China, Czech Republic, Italy, South Korea and Spain. The biggest increase came from the import of 13,958 electric vehicles last year.
