This was reported at the closing of the so-called Festival for National Sovereignty, held next to the central mall in Mexico City, where he recalled that in 2014, the current president, Andres Manuel Lopez Obradorfiled a complaint for treason against Enrique Peña Nieto and all those who approved the energy reform.
“We are going to start this consultation and the people of Mexico are going to decide if we take up the complaint that our president made in 2014 or we present now a new complaint against these 223 traitors, that they take responsibility for their actions and that they render him accountable. accounts to the history of our country”, he declared before a hundred supporters who shouted “traitors” “traitors” in chorus.

In the act, which was enlivened by musical bands, Mario Delgado read article 123 of the penal code, which establishes that prison sentences of 5 to 40 years, and fines of up to 50 thousand pesos, will be imposed on the Mexican who commits treason against the country in some of the modalities, such as carrying out acts against the independence and sovereignty of the Mexican nation with the purpose of submitting it to a foreign person, group or government.
“What did they do by voting in favor of foreign companies? They betrayed Mexico,” he insisted.
The morenista leader pointed out that the homeland is the mother of all Mexicans, so the opponents “have no mother.”
“Our mother is the country, they have no mother because they are traitors to the country. And look, preferably do not go, but if you are going to visit the campaign houses of these traitors, take them little flags, do not scratch, so that they remind you that there are many people and that history does not forgive, “he declared while showing a flag from Mexico.
At the event, a wall was placed with the faces of the legislators who rejected the presidential initiative. In this regard, Ignacio Mier, coordinator of Morena in the Chamber of Deputies, considered that the “traitors” should be “shot” peacefully.
“They have told us that it shows protest for telling them the truth, that they are true traitors to the country, it was violent. False, we in principle, it must be said clearly, we are a peaceful movement. The worst price is the repudiation of the people of Mexico, with what face are they going to present themselves in their states? With what face are they going to knock on doors? Finally, he assured that after the resolution of the Supreme Court, the Mexican electrical system “is protected”; “Prices are going to drop, we had already approved an electrical reform in February last year where it was established that access to electricity is a public service, no longer a commercial or lucrative service, but the constitutional reform was necessary to shield and that the temptation would not remain, because they are going to have it”.
