ELN ‘Toreto’ was not so fast and was captured

The authorities announced the capture of an alleged member of the National Liberation Army -ELN- who is known by the alias ‘Toreto’.

The man, identified as Yairon Emiro GC, is described by the authorities as an experienced explosives operator, a member of the Carlos Armando Cacua Guerrero Front of the ELN in Hacari, Norte de Santander.

The arrest of this subject occurred within the framework of an operation called Puma, carried out on a street in the Ocaña municipality.

On alias ‘Toreto’ there was an arrest warrant for the crime of conspiracy to commit an aggravated crime.

The captured man is accused of manufacturing and conditioning ramps and explosive devices to attack Army helicopters in the area where he operated.
