During the Arabian Travel Market 2024, Emirates Airlines entered into a memorandum of understanding with Flynas to expand the interline agreement between the two carriers, with plans to open new connecting flights and offer more travel options to Flynas customers via Dubai.

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Airlines and the Group, and Ayed Al Jaeed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Flynas, Adnan Kazim, Vice Chairman and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airlines, signed a memorandum of understanding with the CEO and Managing Director of Flynas, Bandar Al-Muhanna.

The current interline agreement between Emirates Airlines and Flynas provides enhanced connectivity services via the four Emirates gateways in Saudi Arabia: Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina and Dammam, to over 15 domestic destinations in the Kingdom. It also allows customers to book trips with a single ticket, ensuring that their travel bags reach their final destination directly.

With the extension of the agreement, Flynas customers can now book connecting flights through any Emirates gate in the Kingdom to a selected list of destinations on the carrier’s network in the Far East, Asia Western, in the Indian Ocean and in Europe, via Dubai.

Additionally, Emirates Airlines renewed its strategic cooperation with the Seychelles Tourism Authority and the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Authority, and also entered into a new partnership with the Hong Kong Tourism Authority.

As part of the agreement with the Seychelles Tourism Authority, Emirates Airlines is committed to supporting travel agents and tour operators in key strategic markets in their efforts to promote Seychelles as a leisure destination. Emirates Airlines also affirmed its strong commitment to promoting tourism in Sri Lanka, continuing its efforts, in its 38th year of operations in Sri Lanka, to support the tourism agenda of this island by developing special offers designed to attract a wide range of tourists and familiarize trips from major markets.

In the same context, the MoU with the Hong Kong Tourism Board aims to strengthen inbound tourism from key target markets in the Middle East and Europe, as well as pursue various joint activities, including familiarization trips, comprehensive promotional plans and advertising campaigns.
