Al-Marsad newspaper: Al-Arabiya TV showed a report about a laundry run entirely by Saudi women in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, where the owner of the laundry expressed her wish to open more than one branch, stressing that women can do everything.
Hana Al-Dhafiri, the owner of the laundromat in Makkah, said that at first she was unemployed, and the idea of the laundromat came to her, noting that people were surprised at the idea at first, as it is the first laundromat with a full female staff, saying: “It was surprising, but everyone prayed for us and wished us well.” And they were very proud of being a woman with a laundromat.”
Employment at first
Al-Dhafiri pointed out that at first she hired a worker in the laundry, but after 3 months, she noticed that the income was very weak and there was almost no income at all.
And she noted, “When she herself supervised the laundromat, the conditions inside the laundromat changed 180 degrees, continuing: “And the cleanliness became much more.”
And she continued: “We ourselves supervised the laundry and learned how to wash, dry and iron in proper ways,” stressing that the demand for them increased, and they also developed themselves by printing advertisements for their laundry and publishing it inside hotels in Makkah, who came to them.
And their income became very large thanks to the many orders that came to them.

And about their readiness for the Hajj season, Al-Dhafiri said: The pilgrims are coming to us in a big way, so our reputation is famous for everyone by virtue of the cleanliness of the clothes, the way of reception and the sweet smile, expressing her wish to open more than one branch of her laundry, and to employ a large number of workers for Saudi women, sending a message at the end of her speech by emphasizing That a woman is incapable of anything, and she can do everything.
