Beirut – Soraya Shaheen – The Syrian artist, Nisreen Tafesh, shared with her followers a photo that she posted on her personal account on a social networking site, while she was enjoying her time on one of the sea beaches.
Tafesh appeared in the photo, wearing a dress printed with sunflowers, as she sat on a bed under the sun, and seagulls soared in the sky.
Tafesh used a sentence by Shams al-Din al-Tabrizi and commented on the photo, saying, “There is no big difference between east and west, north and south. Whatever your destination, you must make the journey you take a journey within you. If you travel within you, you will be able to cross the vast world and beyond.”
