Reported at the meeting, Mr. Truong Thiet Hung, Chairman of EVNCPC’s Member Council, said that the unit is managing to sell electricity to 4.6 million customers in 13 provinces/cities in the Central and Central Highlands. Mr. Hung said that according to the assessment of Singapore Electricity Group (SPGroup), in 2021, EVNCPC ranked fifth in the ASEAN Power Companies in terms of smart grid index.

In order to ensure electricity during the Lunar New Year of the year 2023, EVNCPC has made and implemented a plan to ensure electricity for production and consumption. At the same time, strengthen inspection and strengthening of the power grid to ensure safe, continuous and reliable power supply for electricity users.

According to Mr. Hung, during the Lunar New Year 2023, the unit does not perform the work that must stop or reduce the power supply causing power outages to customers, except in case of incident handling.

EVNCPC also fully prepares supplies, backup equipment, fuel, communication systems and vehicles, ready to quickly handle damage and incidents.

Speaking here, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien acknowledged and praised the results achieved by EVNCPC’s leaders and staff in 2022. However, to ensure power supply during the Lunar New Year, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien asked EVNCPC to focus on implementing a number of specific tasks.

Accordingly, EVNCPC needs to review the construction plan and assign work to well implement the plans.

Mr. Dien said, although EVNCPC has experience in responding to natural disasters, storms and floods, but during this Tet holiday, the unit needs to be ready with human resources, vehicles, raw materials, supplies and equipment to be ready for the next Tet holiday. incident.

In addition, for safe operation, it is necessary to coordinate with units both inside and outside the group to share the fire in unexpected situations that may occur before, during and after Tet.

Finally, Mr. Dien asked EVNCPC to communicate effectively, provide information in a timely and public manner.
