Etihad Airways flies to three new destinations

Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, has revealed the launch of new flights to three major destinations, including Osaka, Copenhagen and Düsseldorf, as the carrier continues to consolidate its pivotal role in strengthening Abu Dhabi’s ties with the world, and providing greater options and better experiences for residents and visitors. The new services launched to Dusseldorf, Germany, on September 28, followed by flights to Copenhagen, Denmark, the next day, and Osaka, Japan, on October 1.
The company revealed that it has increased its flights to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Colombo in Sri Lanka, as part of its plan to launch new destinations and increase the number of its flights to meet the increasing demand for visiting Abu Dhabi, and to strengthen its network of destinations.
Antonualdo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said: “The new flights are the next important step in our journey as we strengthen our network to provide more connectivity to our guests, and meet their demand for more opportunities to visit Abu Dhabi.”
He continued: “We are helping to accelerate the economic growth of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by providing more travel options and smoother means of connectivity, while ensuring that it is easy for our guests to visit Abu Dhabi as a final destination or as a stopover on their way to one of the destinations we operate.”
