The Right Honorable Pierre Ngolo speaker of the upper house of the Congolese parliament, invited the government to go to the end of its efforts to resolve the situation related to recurring fuel shortages throughout the national territory.

It should be noted that the plenary of June 08, 2022 in the Senate hemicycle was devoted to current issues, particularly that of shortages recurrent fuel losses observed at the national level. Concerned by this situation faced by the Congolese they represent in the hemicycle, the people’s elected representatives wanted to question the government on what is currently going on with these shortages. “It is up to us to reassure our compatriots that what is happening is temporary and that at government level everything is being done to get us out of this situation”said the President of the Senate Pierre Ngolo. For his part, the Congolese Chief Executive Anatole Collinet Makosso gave some answers to their concerns. « To today the premium fuel situation has stabilized with an average autonomy of 14 days of consumption throughout the national territory. We have the problem in terms of diesel which is still insufficient to Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire » did he declare. Pierre Ngolo, President of the Senate, took due note of the information provided by the Head of Government, hoping that we will soon get out of this situation.
