LR Teschl-Hofmeister: More than 9,000 new applications since January

St. Pölten (OTS) – “The Lower Austria family pass can look back on a 40-year success story and is well received by the population. More than 9,000 newly issued Lower Austrian family passports in the first half of 2023 mean an extremely gratifying increase in the number of applications,” says Christiane Teschl-Hofmeister, Provincial Councilor for Family Affairs. 197,000 people are currently in possession of the advantage card and are happy to use it at around 500 partner companies. The free card can be requested not only by parents and guardians, but also by uncles, aunts, family friends, childminders and anyone who enjoys spending time with children.

In the summer months there are again special campaigns that appeal to families. A special family bowling day will take place on August 9th in the NXP bowling center in St. Pölten. The Lower Austria family pass summer experience will also be available again this year. A selection of partner companies put together particularly attractive offers during the holiday season for Lower Austria family pass holders, such as the Thayatal National Park, Brandner Schifffahrt Wachau or the Haus der Wilderness in Lunz am See. Whether in retail, gastronomy and the hotel industry, in services or in the cultural sector – the Lower Austria Family Pass is so attractive because it has many different offers.

“The rapidly increasing numbers of current new applications show that we are on the right track with the offers of the Lower Austria family pass. Families should be financially supported, the family pass offers suggestions for joint activities and with the insurance packages and the digital learning workshop, the Lower Austrian advantage card impresses with its unique benefits,” the provincial councilor is convinced.
