At last month’s Game Awards, Matthew McConaughey took to the stage to reveal Exodus, a Mass Effect-style narrative-driven sci-fi adventure that will see us join some fleshed-out companions Forge your own path through the galaxy.

And, of course, there’s the character Matthew McConaughey will play. Apparently, he will be more of a mentor, guiding players through their decisions and shaping their story.
For context, our adventure will take place in the Omega Centauri star cluster, where humans are at the bottom of the food chain. It is said to be inspired by Dune and Interstellar for its grounded and realistic approach.
