A “very active frontal system” from France will cross our country on Thursday. The east and center of the country should be the most affected regions, with sometimes intense and prolonged rains as well as a possibility of the development of isolated storm cells, announces the MRI which warns against a risk of significant accumulations rainfall in these regions. In the northwest of the country, the amounts of precipitation should be less important.
The maxima will be between 19 and 24°C, under a generally moderate wind, often at first from north to northeast, then from north to northwest.
Thursday evening, locally stormy showers will still be expected from the center to the east of the country. The north-west of Belgium can count on dry weather with clearings. On the coast, a moderate northwesterly breeze will set in in the afternoon.
Sunday, it will be hot and sunny with highs of 25 degrees in the Ardennes and 30 degrees in the Campine. The wind will be light to moderate from the south. A few showers may follow the following night from the west.
