“Faculty in Liège finds miniaturized camera in restroom, suspect apprehended”

The incident was discovered on Monday when the bins designated for sanitary napkins were being replaced. Sudress reported that the management reviewed the footage captured by the camera that same day at around 9:30 am, before contacting the police, who were able to identify the perpetrator as a male doctoral student and course assistant in the institution. The suspect acknowledged the crime and was presented before an investigating judge before being released under strict conditions. The Liège prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into the matter.
